Apple Watch shipments jumped in 2017 (analysis)

Image
Apple Watch shipments jumped in 2017, according to  analysis Apple Watch continues to be a bright spot in amongst the middling world of wearables, according to  cnalys.comThe analyst group’s figures put the smartwatch at 18 million shipments for 2017, representing a 54-percent jump over the device’s 2016 numbers. Apple’s wearable popped for a couple of reasons, LTE functionality being chief among them. For one thing, cellular connectivity was the top new feature for the Series 3. It also meant that the device got wider distribution, as more carrier partners started carrying the product in their retail stores.    The watch got its warmest reception in US,  Japan and Australia, struggling a bit more in the UK, France and Germany & more, where carrier partnerships are a bit more spotty for the product.   know about more   THANKS FOR READING 😍

hello to Google Pay and Say goodbye to Android Pay

Image
Say goodbye to Android Pay and hello to Google Pay Google is also introducing  a redesign of the Google Wallet app for sending and requesting money, and it’s now called Google Pay Send. Users in the U.S. and U.K., though, will also soon be able to use the Google Pay app for sending and requesting money. New users can download the Google Pay app today and existing Android Pay users will get updated over the course of the next few days. at   first glance, the new Google Pay app is basically a redesign of Android Pay, with a look and feel that adheres closer to Google’s own Material Design guidelines than the original. In terms of functionality, there isn’t all that much here that’s new. One notable change, though, is that the Google Pay home screen now shows you relevant stores around you  AND where you can pay with Google Pay. That list is personalized, based on previous stores where you used the service, as well as your location. In addition, the home screen shows you

Facebook work with Apple to test news paywalls on iOS

Image
Facebook works  with Apple to test news paywalls on iOS Apple is allowing Facebook to bend the subscription rules. Starting March 1st-18, news publishers will be able to use their paywalls inside Facebook’s iOS app. On Android since October-17, when users run out of free articles and hit the paywall, Facebook has opened a special publisher subscription page in   the  shape   of Instant Articles in Facebook’s  andorid app, where customers complete the subscription transaction, and publishers keep 100 percent of the revenue. That’s despite Android usually charging 30 percent on subscriptions bought inside native apps. Now, On iOS thanks to the new agreement with Apple, when a user runs out of free articles and would hit the paywall, Facebook tells me it will load the subscription page on the publisher’s mobile website instead of in Instant Articles. Publishers will get to keep 100 percent of the subscription revenue and the customer data, while Facebook charges nothing and the m

Apple's earnings revival in the first Quarter of 2018 very shocking

Image
Apple saw $5.5 billion in revenue from AirPods, Watches, TVs and other products  things  like  these  last quarter of 2018 Other than its iPhones and computers, Apple sells a bunch of other products, like the AirPods, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Beats products, iPod Touch and, most recently, the HomePod. In Q1 2018 Apple’s revenue in Q1 2018 was $88.3 billion, so sales from other products make up a small portion of the company’s overall revenue. Still, $5.5 billion is not a small amount of money. This  is  very  huge  amount  $ Thanks for reading

Good news! (FOR  you) You might be totally right. Reports and rumors of a “No Service” bug impacting iPhone 7 Apple is acknowledging the issue. "Read  this  carefully" The company says it’s determined that “a small percentage” of iPhone 7s will claim no service even when service is available. The bad news: it’s not an easy fix. A software update won’t help this time. Apple says this  kind  of   problem  stems from a faulty logic board, which means they’ll have to completely repair your device. The less-bad news: Apple will repair it for free, and if you’ve paid for such a repair already at the Genius Bar, they’ll reimburse you. Apple says devices made between 9- 2016 and 2- 2018 might be impacted, particularly those sold in the US, C
