Fitness startup Studio is bringing its audio running classes for Life Fitness
Fitness startup Studio is bringing his audio running classes to Life Fitness treadmills
Studio, a startup that delivers fitness coaching
"What does this mean for gyms and Life Fitness? We’re bringing them an awesome group of the running world’s best instructors,” Baptiste said. “What does this mean for us? Over the coming few months, we’re going to get in front of more people than anybody else with the number one equipment manufacturer.”
One challenge is that if you’re not already a Studio user, you might not feel inclined to sign up for a new app right when you’re getting on a treadmill. However, Baptiste said his team has worked to streamline that process, so that you can just authenticate using the Facebook app on your own phone.

Jason Worthy said as the company’s vice president of digital solutions and innovation, in the announcement. “Our partnership with Studio creates an exciting experience far beyond what a traditional treadmill offers, and will keep runners coming back to try new workouts, experience new instructors and beat their personal best.”
Studio is also announcing that it raised $1.3 million in funding last year from investors. On the institutional side, the investors include TechNexus, Techstars, First Round Capital’s Product Co-Op, Gambit Ventures, Full Tilt Capital, Rostrum Capital, Firstrock Capital, HTVentures and Bridge Boys & Other's
And, by the way, Baptiste has also been doing some hiring to back up that comparison to Peloton — former Peloton head coach lisa Niern joined studio In January as director of programming.
I am going to talk about one another company that earn huge amount $ from fitness
Mirror raises $13 million for virtual fitness classes
It may seem like there are already enough on-demand fitness classes, but one startup has an idea for something a little different.
"MIRROR" is debuting an at-home device that looks like a mirror, but also lets you see the instructor and classmates for fitness routines like barre, yoga, boxing Pilates & OTHER'S. I’m told that this is no ordinary mirror or video conferencing system, but that there also key metrics that measure your performance on DIGEITAL screen.
I’m told it will be somewhere in the ballpark of other high-end machines. ( Peloton costs $2000.) Then there’s the additional content subscription.
The product has yet to launch, I think its initial success will be largely tied to the price point. I’d personally drop a few hundred dollars on quality at-home workout classes, but not a few thousand.
I’ve yet to see the machine though and it’s a game changer.
It’s launching sometime in spring and will sell directly to consumers via its website and others.
I am going to introduce you an amazing thing that is RING πMotiv’s fitness tracking ring
Here’s one of those devices I can’t wait to put through some real world testing. Motiv’s creators made some pretty big claims for their tiny wearable .which are pretty impressive, if true, putting a new spin on the somewhat staid and oversaturated world of fitness tracking wearables.
For what it’s worth, I’ve never actually worn a ring with any regularity (aside, of course, from my short stint as the Green Lantern in the late-70s), but there’s unquestionable appeal to a device that promises to cram full wrist-worn fitness tracking functionality into that sort of form factor Wao π.
indeed, the titanium-encased wearable can do a lot – it tracks sleep and fitness, including steps, calories and distance & more. It also somehow manages to pack in an optical heart rate sensor, all while boasting a battery life of three to five days on a charge. Now, granted, you won’t be draining as much life without a display or notifications, but you can only fit so much battery into a device this small.
It goes up for presale today for $199, a bit more than your standard fitness tracking wristband — and a heck of a lot smaller.
The ring is also waterproof (as rings should be) up to 50 meters, so you can take it swimming and just go about your day and generally forget about it. It comes in seven sizes – a decided improvement over all of the one-size-fits-all fitness trackers on the market — and will be available in either gray , rose, gold or more and feature an LED band for charging and syncing notifications.
